Kicking Things Off: Lake Dunstan Bike Trail
Before the full team arrived, Kay, Nev, Gay, and Shane got a head start on the fun with an epic ride along the Lake Dunstan Bike Trail—a 48km journey through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Aotearoa. Thanks to kiwijourneysnz, the bike hire was smooth and hassle-free, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Midway through the ride, they stopped at a gorgeous winery for a well-earned break—because what’s a Kiwi adventure without a cheeky wine stop? 🍷 The verdict? A solid 10/10. This trail is a must-do for anyone visiting the region! After the ride, it was time to refuel with a meat feast at The Stoaker Room in Cromwell. Think next-level food, great vibes, and full bellies—exactly what you need after a big day out!
🚁 Surprise Helicopter Ride to Earnslaw Burn
The next morning, what started as a simple coffee run turned into something unforgettable… a helicopter ride with heliglenorchy! The Reward Travel team soared over Queenstown’s rugged landscapes, spotted wild deer, and landed at the hidden Earnslaw Burn waterfall. Their pilot, Matt, even shared some insider Brad Pitt gossip—talk about a bonus! 😍
🍽️ A Night to Remember at Nest
Once the full team arrived, it was time to glam up for a special evening at Nest Queenstown. Perched high above Queenstown, this elegant spot offered panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu that took our breath away before we even took our first sip.
The food? Absolutely divine. The service? Impeccable. The company? Unbeatable. It was one of those nights that reminds us why we love what we do—bringing people together through the joy of travel.
🍷 Wine, Bikes & Bungy at Gibbston Valley
Sunday was packed with even more adventure! While the boys went off exploring, the girls headed to Gibbston Valley Winery for a wine tasting inside their stunning wine cave. After learning all about the winemaking process, they hopped on bikes from the Gibbston Valley Bike Centre and cruised along the riverside trails.
A stop at Gibbston Tavern brought delicious food, refreshing gin tastings, and a new furry friend—Hank, the tavern’s charming resident dog 🐶.
The day wrapped up with a spontaneous visit to AJ Hackett Kawarau Bungy, where most of the team ended up zipping through the air on the zipline! And to top it all off? A refreshing dip in the lake just in time to watch the TSS Earnslaw cruise by. Pure Queenstown magic.
