After an unforgettable adventure through Canada, Alaska and Hawaii, Gay from Reward Travel has returned—and we’re so excited to share the highlights of her incredible journey with you!
Gay kicked things off in beautiful Vancouver, reuniting with her Canadian family (yes, she’s our resident Canada expert—so hit her up with all your Canada travel questions!). From there, the real adventure began…
She set sail on a breathtaking Princess Cruise through Alaska, and wow—what a trip! Think towering glaciers, majestic wildlife, and the most charming little Alaskan towns you can imagine. The scenery? Absolutely next level. 
After disembarking in Anchorage, Gay spent a few days exploring the city. The food? Incredible—especially the crab (a must-try!). Fun fact: Anchorage is home to the world’s largest floatplane lake, and fewer than 40% of locals have a license. Wild, right?
Next up: the open road! From jet skiing through glaciers on the best weather day of the year, to staying at a cozy ski resort in Girdwood (don’t miss the tram ride for epic views!), every stop was a dream. She even visited the quirky town of Talkeetna, where she stayed in a welcoming lodge just outside of town—true Alaskan hospitality! 
If spotting grizzlies, moose, and other rare wildlife is on your bucket list, Denali is the place to be. With stunning trails and unforgettable views, it’s a nature lover’s paradise.
Despite some wildfires causing road closures and activity cancellations, Gay still managed to squeeze in an epic Arctic viewing flight from Fairbanks—what a way to wrap up the Alaskan leg of the trip!
To top it all off, Gay ended her journey soaking up the sun in Hawaii. After all that Alaskan chill, we can’t think of a better way to warm up and wind down!
